A Message from the Organizers of the

Sigma Rho Alumni Association

Hey Guys: Hope all is well with everybody. Mike Tobis (1366) & I were shooting the shit the other day & had a brainstorm (brainfog may more accurately describe it) about forming a Sigma Rho Alumni Association. Tobis occasionally faxes out a phone list with names & addresses on it & some upcoming events. He has switched jobs & probably won't be able to do it from the company fax anymore. We were thinking of forming the alumni association primarily to put out a newsletter every month or two with new names & addresses & upcoming events that the Sig's are getting together to do. There's always plenty of weddings, Kentucky Derby, Stag parties (typically in the form of drunken golf outings), etc. to keep up to date on. I can do big mailings from work under our bulk permit without much trouble (aside from printing & mailing costs). We were thinking of setting something up for around $25-30 per year. At the end of the year, we would donate the balance of the cash to the house as a gift from the alumni association. I talked to Smitty up at the house & he said it sounded like a good idea, but I'm looking for input from those who would be bucking up. Anybody have any additional ideas on "extra" things we could do?? An alumni association would give everybody a central contact for any new upcoming goodies & an easy way to keep in contact with everyone. Shoot me back any ideas or comments you may have. I still need to talk to Grease or Marshall or somebody from the incorporate board to see what they think about the idea. Anyway, let me know what you think - any ideas or comments are welcome. Best Regards,

Phil Agius (1374)
